Migraines

I have a horrible migraine today. I have taken three different medications and I am drinking coffee and it just wont get any better. It makes working and taking care of the kids so difficult.

Do you get migraines? How do you deal with them?

I get them and they are awful and debilitating and the worst when you have kids.. the pounding and throbbing.. i literally cannot get up to deal with anything...

I take imitrex, which is prescription and excedrin at first moment I think ti's coming... Ice pack... tons of water.. mountain dew and tylenol... They don't end but shortens duration.. so sorry. they are awful..

I take Relpax which is related to imitrex. I have also taken tylenol, ibuprofen, and zoloft (for nausea). I have an ice pack on and I am drinking caffeine. I hate migraines!

Thanks Debi! I am sorry to hear your husband suffers from them too.

I know exactly what you mean, the migraine itself is over but I have a hangover from it. THanks for asking!

Yes, yes yes! Hate hate hate them!

I usually get them every once in a while. I think I get them less now that I'm off birth control. To manage them I have to have quiet, in a dark room. 800mg Motrin helps too (Although, I've had a migraine since becoming pregnant..so no Motrin now).
