I've been breastfeeding for 8+ months and I'm struggling in this department too. Breast feeding is nature's birth control, lol. It produces hormones to lower libido because if you get pregnant your body might not be able to produce enough nutrients to support you, your child, and the unborn baby. It still sucks though. I know my relationship is more then just my sex life, but I still feel bad about it. I miss sex!

I've resorted to making myself have sex with my hubby even if I'm not super in the mood if it's been too long. I end up enjoying it still, and I figure it might help my libido find it's way back. Ugh, it is hard though.

I am breast feeding but Bentley sleeps through the night now, thank God!! I have quite the opposite problem actually! Since Ashton is back to work, I have been missing him like crazy! Lets just say he has not been complaining the past few nights ;)

I had a crazy high libido during pregnancy and now it is quite decreased due to breastfeeding, exhaustion and stress. He is gone 12+ hrs a day sometimes and its just me and kiddo and I work from home so it can be a lot to deal with so yes sex is the furthest thing from my mind even though I know my man craves my attention and I know he needs some too. I have started asking him to give me some "me time" even a half hour to take a bath, have a glass of wine or tea and just unwind. Then I can shave my legs, smell good and feel better about myself. When the kiddo goes down for his next nap, bedtime or sometimes even if he is having fun in his exersaucer we can still hear him in the other room but we can sneak away for 10-15 mins. I dedicate that time to my man and some needed pleasure time. I feel better about getting in the mood when I feel a little more "prepared" if you know what I mean :) I know he misses the spontaneous moments but this is a good compromise for us right now.
