Home baked potato wedges!
1.) Wash the potatoes
2.) cut in half, the slice like lemons that you'd put in your tea
(yes, that means leave those healthy potato skins on! :D )
3.) place on a baking sheet, and brush on oil. Veggie, Canola, or olive. Btw, Dr. Oz says that Coconut oil is the best oil to cook with.
4.) add on this spice:
1/2 tsp salt
1.2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1/4 tsp garlic salt
( I prefer to make a whole bunch at once, and store in a season shaker)
5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes.
Don't worry, this recipe came from a diabetic cook book. My mom is diagnosed with Diabetes and we eat this all the time! :D
