Why do I read headlines?

I scanned/read three articles and wondered why they made the headlines. One was of a new study that only had 85 participants and now they are touting it as "new evidence of....." Why do they call this reporting? I don't give credence to studies with such a small number involved, I'm sorry.

Off my soap box for today.....sigh.

i dont gie credence to it either
i suppose everyone has its own criteria for the number of people that should be involved . However I tend to agree that more participants would provide a better case study of the population.
