I would first make sure it was someone they cared about...

If I find my kids french kissing random or different people, then we have a problem. But, knowing if they liked a boy or a girl and the OTHER treated them with respect, then I would have the next conversation, which is ... making sure it stops there or slows way down...

I'm not stupid.. and I was a teen once.. So, I first and foremost want to make sure that I am approachable and create an environment within my home that they are comfortable in and can hang out and share with me..

Yeah, I am hoping we are creating an environment where our children feel safe and comfortable sharing those kinds of milestones with us.

We live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a writer, comedian, actor and single mom of two. Parenting is hard. I try to keep a sense of humor about it all and find the find the funny... in what is most likely NOT funny (i.e. boogers, meltdowns, homework, etc.).
