Do you know how to change a flat tire and will you teach your daughters?
I am ashamed to admit I have never changed a flat tire. I have watched a flat tire being changed. My dad would probably roll over in his grave. He owned his own service station for years and was very knowledgeable in cars. My mom and one of my sisters, I KNOW they know how. My husband and I talked about teaching our girls. I figured I just wait and learn with them. We haven't done it yet. And after this morning's flat tire, I really want my husband to teach us how to change a flat tire, how to change the oil, how to check the tire pressure and whatever else he thinks might be useful to us. I already know how to use jumper cables and charge a battery so that will be on our list for the girls (and boys too, they may as well learn with us as young as they are).
What about you? Do you know how to change a flat tire and will you teach your daughters?
Back in the good old days when they didn't do that, yes I could change a tire.
And yes. It's something I want to know and both my kids to know for sure.
It should be in the mommy classes. Breast feeding, tire changing, swaddling.
