Different mind sets...

I basically wanted a baby from the first minute I said, "I Do." It really sucked for me since it caused such a deep disconnect between my husband and I... God knew what he was doing, we didn't get pregnant until after my husband finally told me he was ready to be a dad. In my opinion, if we had gotten pregnant any sooner I would have been a single parent. I think my husband would have resented me until he seriously bonded and was thankful for his child.
I HATED hearing, "your time will come." We almost got divorced because we weren't wanting the same things. If you aren't married, maybe evaluate whether he will/can want what you do.
