Tired of the apron

Every big girl knows that clothes shopping can be a soul sucking experience. I try to be cavalier about it, but seeing clothes that used to look good on me, look horrible because of the mommy apron is a little depressing. But instead of allowing myself to be depressed, I bought a bigger size for now and am starting a new diet tomorrow, and once we can afford it a new elliptical will be in our living room.

    Hi Theresa,
I'm a Gramma with 2 grown kids and 6 grandkids, and 1 Great grandkid in the oven. When I had my son, I gain 63lbs..... now that was depressing. lol. After I had him, I didn't fit any of my cutsie-pie teen clothes. I kept them because I was determined to fit them again. I lost "Most" of that weight, however I never did fit into those clothes again. I barely fit them when I did fit them.
Anyway, I eventually bought all new clothes that fit me properly, and looked good in them.
What I'm trying to say is this... You are in a new cycle in your life, and You will need to change more than the clothes you wear. Think of this as a new chapter in your book of life and turn the page. This is a great thing you have done. You have created a life. This can be a chance for you to start with a new out-look as well as a new look.
Feel better about "YOU". You are blessed.
      ooo an eliptical! Very nice!
