Insomnia

I have been suffering from really bad insomnia since the summer. I have tried multiple natural and medical remedies and nothing really works. I have read that it is common for moms to suffer from insomnia. Sometimes I just wish I could turn my brain off and get some sleep.

Do you suffer from insomnia? Advice?

    Have you tried melatonin? Valerian? I've had insomnia since Highschool and am now taking melatonin and it seems to be helping me a bit.

    I tried melatonin and ZzzQuil and Ambien. All work for a short period of time and then they don't work any more.

    I got postpartum anxiety after I gave birth to my fourth baby and was put on medication. My youngest cosleeps so that doesnt help I am sure.

      Usually I only struggle with sleeping if I am worried about something. I don't usually take anything but lavender has worked for our children. Peace and calming is another one that worked for our youngest when he was a baby.
