Asperger's Diagnosis

A few of you already know this, today we got little bub's official diagnosis. It's been a roller coaster of emotions but today I feel ok. Because I know he will be ok.

And now he is begging me to play Plants vs Zombies with him. Did I mention it's a snow day? SIGH

I am glad that you have an official diagnosis, it make it easier to help formulate a treatment plan. Hopefully you will be able to find treatment and resources to help your son and come up with a great plan. He will be ok and so will you! We are all here to help and support you! Hugs!!
Thanks for all the support! I have a momentary reprieve due to the Xbox controller needing to be charged.

This school year has been rough for him. At the beginning of the school year we moved, which was a big change for him. While I had concerns on and off about certain things it didn't really come to a head until he experienced this huge change in his life.

The diagnosis doesn't change much, really. The school was already working with me as far as accommodations were concerned. Now we know exactly what we are dealing with and can fine tune those to help him. He has a counselor he really likes, which is a great thing. He also has a mom and big sister who adore him along with extended family that think he's awesome.

Again, thank you for the kind words and support. :)
