How to relax?

My lower back hurts and my legs hurts. I can't stand for long periods of time. I'm going to try to get some rest and sleep on my left side.

Lay down in your bed, tense your body one area at a time and release the tension. Start at your head and work all the way down to your feet. By tensing each muscle and then relaxing it you will consciously able to release the tension. Pay close attention to what it feels like when that specific muscle group is relaxed. Take slow deep breaths while you do this. When you are blowing out imagine that you are blowing out stress and tension. When you breathe in imagine that you are breathing in peace and relaxation. I hope that helps!

Thanks. My husband has this massage thing I can lay on or I can put it in a chair I was thinking about using that.

That's the same thing I was doing laying on my left side with a pillow between my legs and I had a bottle of water and now I feel so much better. I never thought about lavender essential oils I'll have to try it.

My problem is I never rest and I don't take naps. For now on I know I will.
