51 Ways to Save Up For Baby

It's overwhelming once you realize how much you will need for baby, and even more so when you think about how much all of that is going to cost! I found this article on 51 ways to save up for baby. I wish I had used some of these more. I wish I had checked out consignment shops more, and I definitely didn't need the amount of clothes we had for her. She has 2 huge bins of retired clothes already that she has grown out of, a few she didn't even wear!

Ah.. one thing I am glad I did was NOT buy a ton of clothes :) There are so many awesome second hand clothing shops here in the city... so every Friday I would stop, spend literally $5 - $10 and gobble up darling clothes! I even got his cozy cover there for $10! I saved so much money stopping in.. and the quality of the products is so so good! :) I also used so many things from around our house for in his nursery.. so it really didn't cost that much!

I do not think anyone can ever be totally ready to have a baby... to me it is something you must just dive head into... because if you keep waiting it will never happen!
