Cysts or pregnant?!

Hi, I just joined but am asking for some advice or persona experience.

First off, im 20 going on 21 next month, married, with no children. I'm not on birth control either.
When I was 15 or 16 i found out I had ovarian cysts. The past month I have had some uncomfortable abdominal pain, not like double over pain or nothing just like slight cramps, mostly on the left side. I know for sure I have a cyst on my left ovary but within the last month I have noticed another spot that seems to be a cyst also. but still have slight cramping in the middle where i assume my uterus would be.

What i'm getting at is I don't know if its just cyst bothering me or if it could be a eptopic, regular pregnancy or what. I've had enough of google cause that is a sure fire way to make yourself believe you're dying. Has anyone else gone thru something similar?? Any insight or advice would be great.

Well. from what I understand they are both painful and can feel the same.. either way they both need to be taken care of .. especially if there's pain.. I would get to a doctor asap... as you don't want the cyst to burst and an ectopic pregnancy can be dangerous and needs to be handled...

    Go to your Doctor..

I think i'm going to.. Something has been telling me to take one for like 2 weeks but i've just put it off cause I always get a BFN, and it's REALLY depressing. Also it's scary as hell not knowing cause I don't want there to be something majorly wrong.

Go to your doctors too, I know it's best to really know whats going on than guessing.

It's hard to make an appointment at the moment cause my husband and I are kinda in a bind with a vehicle situation but something has definitely got to give, i'm worrying myself to death. Talkin to my husband is like talking to wall, I guess it's just awkward for him.

I would absolutely get that checked out!

It is very normal to have cysts, in face most of us develop them during ovulation but our bodies reabsorb them. However, there are different kids of ovarian cysts that don't go away on their own, and they do require medical attention. Either to keep an eye on them, or have them removed.

If you get the regular, fluid filled type that your body doesn't reabsorb you can go on a short stint of birth control for a few months to help you regulate again. I had to do this, and my tubes have been tied, lol. But the alternative was having an oopherectomy (sp?) to have one or both ovaries removed. It's been well over two years and I haven't had any issues with them since. Thank goodness!

Seriously, talk to your GYN. There are treatments for this. It might not last forever, but if you are looking to TTC then it may get your ovaries in a place where they regulate enough for that.

              Good luck!

I know I have had the same cyst for at least two years and the dr said it was ok? To me it feels like its getting larger. it throbs off and on. sometimes i can feel my left leg go numb for a sec. i was on birth control for a lil over a week when i was younger and it made me extremely sick! and I feel that is what caused me to have cyst. but then again im not a dr lol
