Left Side.. Right Side!

That title is rather misleading… meaning, the left side seems to BE the right side to sleep on when pregnant. Because your liver is on the right side of your abdomen, lying on your left side helps keep the uterus off that large organ. Sleeping on the left side also improves circulation to the heart and allows for the best blood flow to the baby, uterus and kidneys.

Did you have trouble sleeping on your left side? Or should I say trying to not sleep on your back or belly?

I love sleeping on my belly… but I try hard not too! Come on pillows! :)

Ever since I was told or read to sleep on my left side, I do, to this day even when I am not pregnant. I fall asleep better on my left side and sleep better too. Ever since being pregnant the first time, I have needed and still use a "leg" pillow. I had one of those body long ones a couple of pregnancies ago but it fell apart. Would love another one but only if I can find a well made one.
