I can't seem to stay awake for anything...

I know they say you get tired durring your first trimester, but I can't help but think that sleeping 17+ hours in a day isn't what they meant. Is anyone else the same?

Well I remember being very very tired with all of my pregnancies... and even now, my youngest is 4 and I'm always tired!! Once you become a mama you're always sleepy! Congrats to you :)

Love the idea about the smoothies, Mandi. Shayna, when I was browsing some preggo forums I saw a LOT of moms who were sleeping similarly, especially ones with Betas as high as yours!

Hmm.. I remember being tired for just a few weeks when I was newly expecting.. but it definitely wasn't 17+ hours a day.. I had to work! ;) But I would come home and go to bed earlier than usual. How long has this been going on? Obviously it is normal, to some extent... but perhaps if it keeps going on.. talk to your doc! I know a brisk walk outside or moving around sometimes wakes me up.. gets my energy going!

It's hard to say how long it's been going on Meg! It's been frequent since I found out, but just when I accept it and go with it, I'm able to get up and about for a few days. Right now it seems to definitely be back to the way things are, but I have schoolwork to worry about and sleeping 17 hours a day isn't helping! Not to mention eating.

As Cassaundra said (she knows me outside of moms.com), my betas were very high, and my hubby and I are hypothesizing twins, but won't know anything until at least Monday with the Ultrasound, though there's a possibility will only see one even if there are two there.

At 5w1d//21dpo my betas read 8048.
