Yummy Easy Breakfast Treat
Okay, I discovered my new treat yesterday. French toast in a mug. It's delicious, easy and protein packed. Here's the recipe.
1.5-2 slices of bread (any bread will work but I used regular old white bread)
3 tbsp milk
Dash of cinnamon & sugar
Drop of vanilla extract
Grease a microwave safe coffee mug. Tear up the bread into bite-sized pieces and lightly squish into the mug. In a seperate small bowl beat the egg and milk. Stir in the cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Pour the egg mixture over the bread in the mug. Squish/stir the bread to ensure it's thoroughly soaked, but don't over do it. Microwave on high for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes. Let it cool for as long as you can stand to wait :)
Pour on some syrup and enjoy.
