Do you kiss your kids on the lips?

Do you kiss your kids on the lips? Do other people kiss your kids on the lips?

I sometimes kiss my kids on the kips but I usually kiss their cheek. As long as we are healthy I do not see a problem kissing my own children on the lips. I do not allow anyone else to kiss my kids on the lips, even their grandparents. Their grandparents have tried before and I have asked them not to, I worry about germs and my kids getting sick.

Do you worry about germs? I mainly worry about cold sores (herpes). I do not have it and neither do my kids but I know something like 70% of the population does. I try to reduce their risk of catching it.

I do both. My kids usually go in for a lip kiss w me. Nothing wrong.
But no way in hell do I think it's appropriate for anyone else too. Gramma or not. Plus my gramma kisses were gross anyway. Lol.
Most people close to us are not kissy w them but there are plent of hugs and affection and kisses on foreheads.

        Lips. Nope

Not a lip kissing family at all! If I kiss my kids on the lips, it's b/c I made a mistake and missed their cheek :-) On the other hand, I do kiss cheeks, necks and bellies!!
