Eating the way we're meant to
Have you heard of Dr. Oz? If not, he's pretty awesome. He's got a show that teaches you how to be healthy. He's also got a good sense of humour. He says that the way we are made, we are really supposed to eat fresh fruits and veggies and meats. You know, the natural stuff. All of these preservatives and additives companies put in our food isn't good for us. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to have a brownie every now and then, or some pizza, but if you make it a lifestyle, like so many of us do, and I'm guilty of it as well, then we are altering the way our body works. It doesn't work as efficiently. We aren't getting the nutrients we should be. There are many ways to get our fruits and veggies in, and if you are a vegetarian, or vegan, it may be easier for you. Let's not forget that our bodies are made to absorb good things, and expell the bad. Let's not ruin our bodies (I'm not talking about weight here) with a lot of boxed food that we eat every day. Let's get back to the way God made us, and let's eat what he made us to eat. God put Adam and his Wife in a garden of good fruits (not hamburger helper) , and Jesus ate lean meats, (not deep fried pork fat).
