Delivery at 36 weeks

Technically a baby born at 36 weeks is considered preterm. At 36 weeks a baby is generally in good health and has very few complications. Some baby's born at 36 weeks will have jaundice, breathing problems or problems eating and maintaining their temperature. If your baby is having problems they will probably have to spend a few days in the NICU for some treatment and help. The majority of babies born at 36 weeks will be healthy and able to go home with their parents.
