Big Baby

The only real way to tell if a baby is too big for a vaginal delivery is to try a vaginal delivery. It is highly recommended that you try induction first and attempt a vaginal delivery before going straight to a c-section. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits that apply personally to you and your baby's health. Ask plenty of questions and make sure you are comfortable with the plan you are your doctor come up with.

With my first (who was 9 lbs 6 oz) my doctor started talking about a c-section towards the end of my pregnancy. She freaked me out. Thankfully after I successfully delivered our daughter vaginally there was no more talk about c-sections for my big babies!
