Pain After C-section

Recovering from a c-section will take 6-8weeks or even longer. It is important to follow the directions given to you by your doctor/hospital. Take the recommended medication for pain too. If you are still having pain and your medication is gone call your doctor and ask for a refill. Trust your instincts, if you feel something is wrong or you do not think you are healing right please call your doctor. You should expect to feel some pain still 3 weeks after a c-section.

I have no experience with c-sections but have heard it does take longer than a vaginal delivery.
