Why? Why? Why?

Both of my kids went through a "Why?" phase. I never minded answering questions, but you know when it turns into just asking for the sake of having something to say? That used to drive me crazy.

How do you deal with the "Why?" phase?

I used to say "Well why do you think, honey? Tell me." and sometimes that stopped it. A funny one (that seemed to finally put an end to it) was I would answer "Why is the sky blue? When you can give me the answer I will answer all of your why's." That became my go to response to the never ending "Why?", they thought it was funny and it was a nice way to let them know I was on to their game.

So, how do you deal with it?
