How to make fruit purees for babies

Making fruit puree is easy start with fruit that is suitable for your child's age, for example if your baby is 6 months old try pear puree by dicing up the pear into small chunks cook on stove top in a steamer basket above 1 cup of water to soften for 10 minutes then blend in blender or food mill, food processor to puree. You can freeze the extra with an ice cube tray.
You can do the same with apples.
If you have a food mill or blender and your baby is ready for mixed fruits try blending mangos and bananas together, then freeze extra mixture makes a great popsicle treat too.

If you steam cook the apples and pears, yes, you don't have to cook the banana and mangos, you can even get the frozen mangos and cut them into smaller chunks for faster blending.

Just to tenderize it to help give a smooth texture when blending it.
