Not to worry about it. That the water that gets in there during a bath is enough to clean out the goo. Earwax is a protection. Using a q-tip pushes it inside further.
If the earwax is an issue then the doctor can give u a little syringe to squirt it in there with a little peroxide. But that's a serious waxy build up ;)
Bub has waxy ears too. I have to remind him to wash them when he showers, otherwise his ears look pretty gross.
