31 weeks pregnant with sleeping problems

Hi Moms, I'm a new mommy - to - be and am having a more difficult time sleeping on my side. I have a long body pillow and I also wedge a pillow behind my back for more support. I find that my arms start to fall asleep and my growing belly is getting more and more uncomfortable while on my side. Are there any other ways to help ease this problem?

I used to have the same problem and I would sleep slightly rolled back a little from my side and I would have a slightly soft pillow under my knees and that helped but I also have Sever Carpal Tunnal so my arms and hands bothered me a lot
Have you tried sleeping in a recliner or on the couch? During some point of my pregnancy I was not able to get comfortable in my bed no matter what I did. I also bought extra padding to put under me to help with pelvis pain from laying on my side.
One thing I found helpful was a Belly Wedge pillow, it's just a foam wedge but it relived a lot of pressure off my back and hips but that's just where my problem areas were, I would think it might help wherever your needing some relief. You might also want to try taking a nice warm bath before bed if you are able, getting your body relaxed at the end of a long day is tuff for anyone but especially hard when so much is being asked of it, getting your muscles relaxed before you hop into bed though will help with circulation. But eventually (and I know this isn't what you want to hear but..) you will get to that point where nothing is going to help much, especially with sleeping, it's just kinda the way it goes for most of us, but the good news is your in the home stretch! It may seem like these last weeks drag on forever but you really don't have much longer to go, so hang in there!
