baby nosebleed

it's very common for children to have a nosebleed. I know, you can be scary looking at your child and notice he/she has a nosebleed with no apparent reason. It's a good idea to keep your child's nails short to prevent injuries from nosepicking.

What to do to stop a nosebleed:

1.have the child sit up with his/her head tilted slightly forward, but do not have a child lay back-it may cause vomiting.

2. pinch the soft part of nose for 10 minutes.

If a nosebleed continues after couple of attempts of stop it, you should call 911 or your doctor.

It is always freaky when they get nose bleeds, but if we remain calm they do too.
