Wet towel

I've only done it twice because we were out of town at the rental houses doing some work and I don't have any spare gear up there. I would recommend wrapping him in a towel first. The wet towel gives you a good grip on him and in my opinion makes it easier to wash him. I agree with Brande though, if you can get a tub it's the safest way.
