Colds

Holly has her first cold. Clear runny nose, and a congested sounding cough, I would imagine is from the drainage from her nose. No fever present. She still has no teeth so it is possible teething is involved. I've been told by many people that the doc probably won't give her anything and to just wait it out. What do you do when your baby has a cold? I am at a first time Mommy loss here!

You can also bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove. When it boils, turn the heat down to a simmer. The steam will moisten the air and loosen her congestion (even in other rooms). You may add water throughout the day as the water boils away. Just don't forget about it before you leave the house or go to sleep. I've tried this; it really works!
