One of the greatest things I've read.

I read this a while back on facebook and just ran across it again. It's a long one but soooo worth the read. My mother was overweight my whole life, two of us kids were too. She had stomach stapling in her 40's after 2 heart attacks in one day. I spent a lot of my childhood with a father (who is now one of my best friends) asking my doctors why I weighed so much, why I didn't look like my thin friends.

Please remember that everything we say is absorbed. Whether it's about fat, thin, ugly or pretty. There is so much more to life than what size we are.…

    Yes!!! I love this article. I think every mother struggles with the way she looks. Having a baby forever changes your body, there's no question about that. But it's SO important to remember that we are perfect to them.

      I didn't take time to read the article yet, but I've heard this same thing before and it's amazing what sticks in a young child's mind.
