Crawling. He's just not in to it.

My son just does not seem to want to crawl at all. I've tried to stimulate him by placing his favorite toys nearby, got down on all fours to do a demonstration, laid down in front of him with my arms out....I get a few giggles, but no scooting or movement. After a while, he'll just put his head down and either sleep or roll on his slide and babble. Does anyone have any unique strategies that I could try?

He is not pulling himself up either. I want to have him evaluated to rule out any serious issues.

For a brief second before he pulls them up or sits down.

Don't worry mama! He will. Babies do everything at such different paces and stages! I'd give lots of tummy time and he will eventually when he's ready!

If you are really concerned I would speak to your doctor even if only for reassurance! No stress mama!

His pediatrician recommended that I have him evaluated....and now I'm back to worrying.

nothing like making a mommy worry as if we dont do enough of that lol. My daughter army crawled and then walked but i know my friends daughter who is the same age as mine never crawled and started walking shortly after her 1st birthday. like everyone stated each baby is different and develops a different rate. i pray that everything is fine and although easier said than done try not to worry or stress to much about it and just enjoy him.
