I think "junk food" can always be dangerous.. pregnant or not.. I am a firm believer in "everything in moderation".. you cannot deprive yourself, but junk food can really hurt your health if you over indulge too much while pregnant.. I always sigh at women who just over do it with the eating of junk while expecting and then wonder why it's so hard to lose their weight once the baby is born.. it isn't rocket science.. you don't have to become a couch potato while pregnant and indulge in everything you see.. staying fit, active and eating healthy is so good for your growing baby in your belly too! It's pretty much proven that you only need about 300 extra calories for that baby anyways.. and 300 calories is not that much! :)
