Hot Topic ~ Changing the face of beauty

We have all heard and talked about representing the "real" women in advertising and the barbie doll mystique. However, I recently came across a great campaign by an photographer about "changing the face of beauty" to include special needs people. Statistics sow that 1 in 4 families have a relative with a disability. This is a large number...why is this population not being represented in our advertising today? Take a look at this great video story from the chicago tribune and also visit the website to change your perspective!…

I have worked with exceptional children for over 20 years... so I was aware of the disability ratio... but it really makes a different stance when you write it down for others to see!
