Hmmm

So my mom has a boxer/American Pittbull Terier mix. Her name is Jade. She is absolutely in love with my daughter. She is not food aggressive, she isn't a bad dog. She is my baby, She was a bate dog, so she does have trust issues. I love her just like she is my child. My mom has been wanting me to take her when we move, I always said no bc she isn't the greatest with other dogs or strangers. I went over yesterday, and I saw her, she just doesn't look happy. I decided I'm taking her when we get our own place. She needs to live in a house, with a big yard, and endless love. I know that by me being home all day, and working with her, I can turn her into a loving trusting dog. She isn't bad. I can walk her, I can play. She acts out at my moms, they argue, they yell, they have bad energy, and they act like she is aggressive so when people go over and she gets kenneled she gets stressed, she is a great dog. I am going to take her, because she needs a second chance. I seriously talk to this dog on the phone. I love her and she deserves better. I am in no way bashing my mother, she is trying, but she knows she can't give jade the life she needs. I know she is a great dog with trust issues.

I think that sounds perfect.. Dogs like this need someone like you.. Just .. and I'm sure you know this.. be careful.. especially with dogs of any breed that have trust issues and with kids... memories and their past can come back in a split second.. Love can turn them around, but it's in their programming now.. so, love her and just be careful with your kiddos around.. :)

Oh yes, She is great with Kai. That is her baby. She doesn't like males and is skittish around other dogs from being abused and a bate dog. She loves my daughter, we always go there and we used to live there and she is a perfect dog with my daughter! I have no worries with her and my daughter. She is a great dog over all. I know theres a lot of people who say pittbulls are bad dogs for families, but she is a great dog with a huge heart and she needs a family who will love her and always make time to train her. Which is what I will do!
