Building my milk supply

I've been struggling to get my milk supply up!! I try to pump regularly but I can't even get a full oz in one sitting, and its stressing me out. I've had no choice but to give my daughter formula, and it causes her to have an upset stomach. What can I do to keep myself from stressing out ? And how often and how long do I need to pump?

Keep trying, talk to a lactation consultant, eat oat meal try mothers milk tea and drink lots of water. pump for 10 minutes and then try to nurse.

Yes, just keep trying!!! You could do power pumping for a few days and see if that helps - 10 minutes of pumping every hour on the hour.

There are also lots of teas, foods, and treats that can help boost supply :)

my consultant told me pumpm 15 to 20 minutes every three hours. fenugreek has been a lifesaver. you buy capsuels that are 6 mg take 3 of them 3 times a day. look into manuel expression too. there is a video on the net cant remember the site, that shows how. good luck. i know its tough but u can push through

I agree with what the others have suggested and have found fennel essential oil or other forms is suppose to increase milk supply as well. There's mother's milk tea people have used.
