First Birthday

For the first two, and for Hayden as well, we've kept their 1st birthday pretty small scale. Mostly just family, a few close family friends. It wasn't until about their 3rd birthday that we really went all out and made it a for real party - they don't remember the first few anyway and throwing a party can be SO expensive!

That's what we've done too. Simple is better in my book.

Sounds reasonable) Baby does not understand the meaning of the day - so it's mostly the holyday for parents. And if you dont want big party - you dont have to make it).

obsessed with babywearing, cloth diapering, and breastfeeding (but not judgmental about those that aren't). I'm a SAHM that works. Loves cupcakes, kittens, and glitter; hates spiders, housework and pessimism.
