How will having a big baby affect the birth

I have had five babies in the nine pound range:

9.6
9.3
9.8
9.6
9.10

The other three were just under eight pounds and one was eight pounds.

The only issues I had with my births was the medical interventions with my first because they didn't think or know if I could deliver a big baby. Then with my 9.3 daughter I experienced slight shoulder dystocia since she came so fast. She had a broken collar bone at her week old or 2 week check up. The nurse practitioner figures the doctor may have broken it to get her out.

Other than that my births were normal. I pushed about an hour with my first and last but the others came a lot faster.

I was and she did an episiotomy but I don't think it was necessary since all the rest were delivered fine with little tears. They say tears heal better than a surgical cut.

I only had one big baby out of my kids. I still joke and say my oven over baked him.
Logan was 8lbs 3oz and 20inches long. Dr that delieverf him said no more over 8lb babies as logans shoulder got stuck. The dr was very close on breaking his shoulder. He was my biggest and he still is. He is 3.5 and weighs about 34lbs and about 36inches.
Haiden was my smallest. He was born at 5lbs 4oz and 18inches long. He is now 6 and weighs 30lbs and 40inches.
Vincent was in between. He was 6lbs 11oz and 20inches. He now will be 7months and he weighs in at 14.5lbs and about 25inches.

My first was 8lbs 3oz, 19 inches. I had 4 doctors. 1 thought I would need a C-Section, but the other three assured me that the size of the baby as a whole does not matter as much as the size of the baby's head. As long as the head is small enough, the rest comes easy. But, that's only what I was told. I had no issues giving birth to her, despite the one doctor's fear of me needing a cesarean.

They were so easy though because most of them could nearly hold their heads up already because they were big and strong. My little ones all seemed so much more tiny and helpless for longer.

Yeah and it had nothing to do with weight gain. I gained about 15 pounds with my fourth and he was 9.8. And I didn't have gestational diabetes or anything. I just grow 'em big!

My 8 pounder was an easier birth than the others. But her size surprised everybody, they didn't know where I kept 8 pounds of baby. :)
