Hi, There are many options to become a certified doula. First I recommend finding some doula in your area and talk to them. There are two kinds of classes, local classes or online classes. I did online classes through Childbirth International and I love it. I was able to work on my own time and my own pace while staying at home with my baby.

The local doulas in your area should be able to answer many of your questions and they are almost always happy to help. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them as well.

The doula training is at least $500 and to be honest it will take a long time before you ever make that back. You also have to buy books. I loved the training but it was tough to get a doula business started and tough to come up with the funds.
