I been studying up on it and the information I got was healthy diet, plenty of exercise ,and cut on the smoking and drinking if that pertains and finding your right ovulation time. But that's just the info i'm trying to go by because i've been trying also.

    Hi Meg,
All these sound like good things I should start. What do you suggest on the emotional front?

Thanks Anna - by 'actually ready' do you mean he wasn't looking like he was going to pass out at the thought? ;)

Eh, just go for it I say if you want a baby! But, If you need to emotionally prepare.. Maybe read a pregnancy book to prepare and see what you will be in for?
Do not watch birth videos. It will just freak you out! hehe But, being pregnancy is a beautiful experience.

      Good luck :)

I think the most important is to make sure mom and dad are both ready for the responsibility and life changes that come with a child. They aren't small changes or responsibilities, and for mom - the changes start with pregnancy, not with the birth!

Your health, healthy diet, healthy lifestyle, they say you need to have no stress but sometimes in this day its hard not to stress.

Make sure your relationship is sturdy enough to handle hormone fluctuations and expect them.
