What's On Your Grocery List?
I need your help ladies! My son is obese and I need to make over my grocery list. I have already replaced sweets with fruit. Some snacks with better choices. The meals are going to be a little more difficult because, I have picky eaters.
How about replacing sugar with splenda, changing to low fat brands of things and fat free where possible. Make sure water is mostly what he's drinking and no sodas. Don't even keep soda in the house.
Formula, wipes, and diapers are always at the top. But as for food, meat, veggies, fruit, crackers, snacks for the hubby, water, milk, eggs, juice, and bread. I also like to cook and bake so spices, baking ingredients, etc. are there, at times, as well. I was not a picky eater as a kid nor am I one now. I was the type of child who would eat her veggies but rarely touched meat, my mom would have to coax me into doing so. I always preferred the veggies and fruits. I did not like Koolaid but I drank water and preferred it. I like seafood but the hubby hates hit. I hope my son likes it.
Tons of veggies, lean meat, fruit. We hardly ever eat any carbs like pasta and bread, those are used rarely.
