1-8 months to conceive

First pregnancy: surprise pregnancy while on the birth control pill.
Second pregnancy: tried for about 3 months to get pregnant.
Third pregnancy: got pregnant on the first try.
Fourth pregnancy: had unprotected sex for about 8 months before getting pregnant.

It is normal to take up to 12 months to get pregnant so don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away.

It didn't take us long to conceive once we stopped using birth control (only condoms at the time and the rhythm method). I think it was a couple of months with our first and the rest just happened as they happened.
