Thankful for our neighbor

We had moldy hay to move to protect our pregnant animals and lots of manure to move since when it was frozen it wasn't going anywhere. So we were looking into renting a piece of equipment but then my husband decided to take a chance and ask our neighbor first to use his little bobcat. Our neighbor said yes and my husband used it from late morning to late afternoon. Our neighbor only took $25 for gas and even offered us the use of his dump truck once it's insured to really move our manure pile.

Very thankful for our generous neighbor. Hoping some day we can return the favor.

I think they are older. I'd have to ask my husband to be sure as he has met both husband and wife. I haven't met either. But that's a good idea, if they do.

Brandewe think Miss Moo lost another calf a couple of weeks ago as it was about a month since she had cycled and was AI'd and then she had some bloody show. :( We are going to try again and if that doesn't work find a bull to put her with to see if that is more effective. We have to find out if she can carry to term.

Yes, we have both goats and they are due this month or next month. They were with a buck from late November to the end of January so there's a wide range. It takes them five months to kid. Hazel is bigger so she's either due sooner or is carrying more kids.

      Thanks for asking!
