How do I tell my daughter that her father was arrested and is being charged as a P? This is the scariest thing ive ever had o do.
How old is your daughter, Milagro? I would be as honest with her, at her age, as you can.. and if you need to get her checked out.. then you really need to. You cannot let something like that slide.. try and talk openly and honest with her.. answer questions.
Wow, that is a very difficult situation. I think a wait and see situation is not a bad idea at this point. She does deserve to know why she won't be seeing her daddy and you do have to do everything you can do to keep her safe but time will let you learn the full story soon enough.
omg i'm soo sorry to hear that. i'll be praying that u will find the words to be able to tell her that daddy won't be home for awhile cause he did something bad. i'm praying that nothing happend to her and that if u get her checked that nothing shows up :) good luck momma
I can't imagine being the mother in this position but as the child (which I was many years ago) I wish that my family had gotten me checked and gotten me help. Even though he was never convicted my family had their suspicions and never did anything about it. Now i have PTSD and nightmares. It's difficult but the sooner there is treatment (assuming anything happened), the better it will be in the long run. Good luck! :)
