It is normal for it to take up to a year to get pregnant

It is completely normal to take up to a year to get pregnant. If you have been trying for over a year it is best to see your doctor for a check up and for tips.

I suggest learning about how pregnancy occurs, knowing when you ovulate and when your fertile window is will increase your changes of getting pregnant sooner.

Start tracking your cycles and learn your bodies signs of ovulation. Know what is going on in your body will help you to time sex better.

Go to the doctor for a preconception appointment. Making sure you are healthy will give you better odds at getting pregnant. If you are healthy you are also giving your soon to be baby the best chances at being healthy.

Learning about how - or more specifically WHEN pregnancy can occur is really all it took for us. Just knowing more specifically when it was possible made me much more capable of recognizing when ovulation was happening :)

It didn't take me that long but I had a pretty good understanding of my cycles so that probably helped. Plus, I didn't have any invasive birth control affects to deal with since we used a non-invasive form.
