"Pregnancy brain": myth or reality?
Pregnancy and motherhood don't cause women to have memory lapses and other cognitive problems, even though the concept of ''pregnancy brain'' and ''momnesia'' seem to be well known.
Pregnancy does not change a woman's brain even though some women don't feel as sharp as usual when they're pregnant. Hormones may also affect spatial memory - which includes remembering where things are in pregnant women and new moms.
All depends on you, I think it's reality seeing how when you're pregnant the focus is on baby even after birth it's still your main focus.
There's no affirmative study one way or the other how much a woman's brain is affected by pregnancy, specifically the large amounts of hormones. We really don't know enough about it yet.
Sometimes I think it goes back to having THAT MUCH MORE on the mind all the time in general.. right? It makes sense to me.. you go from thinking about you and your husband and the simple life you have.. to bam.. all things baby, all the time.. your brain is bound to push some stuff around in there ;) hehe
