"Pregnancy brain": myth or reality?

Pregnancy and motherhood don't cause women to have memory lapses and other cognitive problems, even though the concept of ''pregnancy brain'' and ''momnesia'' seem to be well known.
Pregnancy does not change a woman's brain even though some women don't feel as sharp as usual when they're pregnant. Hormones may also affect spatial memory - which includes remembering where things are in pregnant women and new moms.
All depends on you, I think it's reality seeing how when you're pregnant the focus is on baby even after birth it's still your main focus.

So very true... even if it's not medically accurate, I think our brains do change - the focus of a mom's life changes when she gets pregnant and there's just not as much room for some of the less important things... like where we left the car keys ;)
