Does your family have any traditional food?

Like anything that only your mom can make correctly or from your "home" country or ancestry? With all the craziness going on with the Russian Government and the Western world (I won't get into my opinions of things, no need on here) but it has me missing all the wonderful food I grew with. Russians eat sour cream on EVERYTHING like americans do ketchup :P

My mom makes the best stuffing. I have yet to replicate it. My grandma made the best brown bread and mustard pickles that I have yet to master.

Iam Puerto Rican and we have many different foods, but we are more known for our rice. No ones rice in my family could compare to my grandmothers rice, or her fried chicken. yum.
