Schedule

I wanted Lucas to have a schedule as soon as possible and he helped so much by sleeping through the night very quickly. At about one to 1.5 months he was sleeping 6-7hrs through the night. I'd make sure his last bottle and bath were in the 11pm hour and in bed by midnight. He keeps to this until this very day and it's perfect because mama's a night owl. :)

Oh that's awesome Cassie! May I ask when your doc gave the go ahead to let Lucas snooze through the night? Monroe had some early issues of gaining weight, but has been proving to do well so far... they still suggested us waking him every 4-5 hours to eat.. and we have an appt next week.. I am hoping they might let us let him keep sleeping.. hehe But I was curious when your doc gave you the go ahead to do so!

The doc never said anything actually. When Lucas was first born he's go a couple hours and wake, like any baby. But when he slept through the night we just kept a close eye on his breathing and position. He loved to sleep on his side very very young. We just were cautious, but also keep in mind he was a big sturdy guy too. 8lbs 10oz at birth! So even bigger when he started sleeping through the night as well haha.

Since I nursed on demand a schedule was very hard to follow...but by the time they were one we had a schedule!
