Sons still not talking.

Hi everyone, so my son is going to be 30 months on the ninth. He is not saying speaking like he is supposed to be at his age. He says some words like momma, dadda, vroom vroom. He also babbles ALOT. He is getting help with it. Has anyone else been through this? If so is there anything else that I can do to help improve with his language.

The only thing I would do is talk to him constantly.. don't prompt him.. but when you're just out.. recognize your surroundings.. "see the blue bus.. you like your snack?", etc.. just keep talking.. and ask questions.. if he babbles, give him words to tell you.. patience and he will get there.. glad you're getting help though. :)
Thanks everyone! I have talked to his ped. He referred me to Round Tree. I have had people come out to my home to work with him.I also took him in to get his hearing checked. He passed all the tests except one. I have to take him back in to redo that test.
The only thing is he is a very hyper boy and does not like to sit still and read. I do talk to him a lot and ask him questions. He is a very smart boy. He does things when I ask him to, like can you put this in the trash, can you go get a diaper, etc. He also loves to clean lol.
He helps vacuum and put away his toys. I don't know maybe im a little paranoid. Just don't want him to be behind when he starts school, like I was. Also he gets very frustrated when he is trying to tell me something and I don't understand him.

a stay at home mom, I don't really have any hobbies. I was going to College full time, but since I had my second child I have not had the time to go back. I would like to change my major, for Veterinarian. I am planning on going back.
