Relieve constipation in children: high fiber foods
We just always increase fruits and veggies, add more whole grains and exercise and that usually has solved it for our children, one in particular.
What about you, what are your go-tos for high fiber?
High Fiber cereal works for me.
My youngest is the only one that has had this issue. Fresh kiwi seems to move things along for her, better than anything else I have tried.
Other than fruits, veggies and greens, we give lot of water, raisins soaked in water and prunes, that helps.
I always found that a lot of fruit juices worked well.
We ALWAYS eat 100 % whole wheat bread. I think that is partly why my kids have not dealt with constipation.
Dried Organic Apricots very high in fiber and my son loves them! I even use them and they work fast!
we really try and eat less processed foods which helps keep us from getting all stopped up it's hard these days!
