NEED ADVICE, MOMS!!!! :(

I'm planning to fly with my now 16 month old boy in July. Then I will be 32 weeks or so pregnant. Do you think I could put my child on lap? By the way, it's going to be 3 flights including one long international flight... dreading it. .....

No, I do not think you should put your child on your lap. A toddler, on three flights- one international, and you're going to be 8 months pregnant? Hell no. Get that child his own seat on at LEAST the longest flight. Preferably all the flights. Put him in his car seat and stretch out.

Remember that you NEED to get up and walk every 30 minutes to an hour to prevent blood clots if you're flying that pregnant. Bring snacks for both of you, and check EVERYTHING you can through checked baggage so you only have a small carry on and the car seat. Don't try to carry too much stuff in case you need to carry your son. Don't forget to stay hydrated.

I would check with the airline too. When I was thinking about going somewhere when I was pregnant some of the airlines had a thing where they won't let you fly if you are too far along and some require a doctors ok and for them to fill out a form for you to be able to fly.

We flew with an 18 month old on our laps and it worked ... I think it depends on the child... although it woudl also depend on their mood :)

Hello, I'm a mother of a 15-month-old boy and am pregnant at the moment (probably into 8-9 weeks). Can't wait to go to the hospital and hear his/her heartbeat.
