How often are negative pregnancy results false

Positive pregnancy tests are very rarely wrong but negative results are commonly wrong. There are many reasons that can cause a false negative.

- Test being taken too early.
- Test not being used properly.
- Test being expired.
- Test results being misinterpreted.

If you get a negative pregnancy test and you think you are pregnant wait a few days and test again.

I forgot to add that if you drank too much water it could dilute your urine and give you a false negative.

When I got pregnant with Audrey I knew it had happened and tested negative for 3 weeks. It was making me crazy, and I started wondering if I was just completely insane. FINALLY got that second line!
